4-HO-DPT
4-HO-DPT (also known as 4-hydroxy-N, N-dipropyltryptamine, and sometimes Procin) is a psychedelic substance that resides in the tryptamine class. It is the 4-hydroxyl analog of DPT.
Very little data exists about the pharmacological properties, metabolism, and toxicity of 4-HO-DPT, so look after your research subjects.

Chemistry
4-HO-DPT is aĀ psilocybin derivative and a structural homolog of psilocin. Repke et al. were the first to report the synthesis
In October 2019, researchers solved the crystal structure Ā They describe the structure as āā¦a singly protonated DPT cation, one half of a fumarate dianion (completed by a crystallographic center of symmetry) and two water molecules of crystallization in the asymmetric unit.ā
The Pharmacology
Little is known about the pharmacology of 4-HO-DPT. Alexander andĀ Ann ShulginĀ documented their synthesis of 4-HO-DPT (#20 inĀ TiHKAL), and describe a 20 mg oral dose as, a āPossible threshold, nothing more.ā 4
The Applications and Potential of 4-HO-DPT
Prior to the current work to solve its crystal structure, virtually nothing was known about 4-HO-DPT. Characterizing this fundamental structure is essential for all downstream research, such as structure-activity relationships that define the biological and clinical properties of the molecule. Understanding these relationships is key to developing effective drugs.
4-hydroxy-N, N-dipropyltryptamine, is a lesser-known hallucinogenic medication. It is the 4-hydroxyl simple of DPT. 4-HO-DPT was first orchestrated by Alexander Shulgin. In his book TiHKAL (Tryptamines I Have Known and Loved), neither the base dose nor the term is known. Produces few with no impacts. Almost no information exists about the pharmacological properties, digestion, and poisonous quality of 4-HO-DPT.
